This is a listing for mid-stem cuttings of the leaf cacti Pereskiopsis spathulata. Each cutting is about 3" (8 cm) long and 5/16" (7-8 mm) wide (diameter). Cuttings are harvested right before shipping from cactus grown at Pandora's organic garden, where we use no pesticides and only feed organic fertilizers.

Upon arrival, check the orientation of your cutting (labelled during packaging) and plant it in a small pot. Use a humid substrate and let it set roots. It should be ready for grafting in 2-4 weeks, after growing about 1" (2 cm) and showing roots at the bottom of the pot.

Shipped through expedited mail with tracking. Expect delivery on 3 business days (Europe) or 5 business days (rest of the world). It may take up to a month on countries with slow customs. Costumers outside the European Single Market are advised to check their local imports' legislation before ordering. Some countries forbid the importation of live plants.

Pereskiopsis spathulata is an atypical cactus species. Originally from tropical regions in Mexico, it features large leaves and a bush-like growing habit. It is arguably the best grafting cactus there is. It set roots easily and has a small diameter, making it perfect as rootstock for cactus seedlings. Grafting with P. spathulata gets a slow growing cactus to flower and set seed in a fraction of the usual time.
